Behind the Scenes of Sausage & Cider Festival 2026

Production, Programming & Collaboration in Méribel

As the winter season begins to wind down in Méribel, events like Sausage & Cider Festival play a key role in keeping the energy high across resort venues. For the 2026 edition, Piste Productions worked closely with Après Ski Bands, Lodge du Village, and La Terrasse du Village to deliver a three-day programme built around live music, food, and a strong après-ski atmosphere.

A Collaborative Programming Approach

Working alongside Après Ski Bands, we curated a line-up designed to evolve naturally throughout each day from relaxed lunchtime sets to high-energy evening performances.

The objective was simple: Create a flow that supports both dining guests and après-ski crowds, while maintaining a consistent level of quality across all time slots.

The result is a programme featuring a mix of strolling acts, acoustic sets, full bands, and DJs, ensuring variety without losing cohesion. Acts such as Revolverlites, Bring Your Sisters, Rio & Rhymes, and Subsessions bring different dynamics across the three days, each carefully placed to match the rhythm of the venue.

Expanding the Production Setup

To support the scale of the event, Piste Productions implemented an additional stage setup, allowing for smoother transitions between acts and a more immersive experience across the terrace and bar spaces.

This extra infrastructure was key to:

• Maintaining continuity between performances
• Reducing downtime between acts
• Supporting both live bands and DJ configurations
• Adapting to the indoor/outdoor flow of the venues

As always in a mountain environment, flexibility and efficiency were essential, particularly with changing weather conditions and high guest turnover.

Artist Logistics & International Coordination

Beyond programming, our team managed the logistics and travel coordination for international artists, including flight bookings and scheduling.

Ensuring artists arrive on time, well-briefed, and ready to perform is a fundamental part of delivering a seamless event experience, especially during a busy end-of-season period in the Alps.

This level of coordination allows venues to focus on operations, while we ensure the talent pipeline runs smoothly from arrival through to performance.

Marketing & Venue Collaboration

The success of an event like this also relies heavily on strong, consistent communication.

Piste Productions worked in close collaboration with Lodge du Village and La Terrasse du Village to deliver a cohesive marketing campaign, including: • Social media strategy and content creation • Line-up announcements and daily highlights • Targeted messaging for both tourists and seasonnaire audiences • Cross-platform promotion aligned with each venue’s identity

By aligning tone, visuals, and timing, we ensured the event reached the right audiences while maintaining a clear and recognisable identity across all channels.

Delivering Incredible Moments

Sausage & Cider Festival is more than just a line-up … it’s about creating moments that bring people together at a key point in the season.

From daytime terrace sessions to late-night DJ sets, this kind of event reflects what we aim to do at Piste Productions: connect venues, artists, and audiences through well-executed, high-quality experiences.
